Dave Grohl Says Them Crooked Vultures “Talk” About A Return

Foo Fighters officially returned this week with new single ‘Run’ but it looks like frontman Dave Grohl is also eyeing the return of another one of his many bands.

He hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a Them Crooked Vultures reunion, the band he formed with Josh Homme and John Paul Jones in 2009.

The trio haven’t played together since 2010 but we may not have to wait that much longer by the sounds of it.

When asked about the future of the band in an interview with Beats 1 Grohl said, “We do talk about it.”

“Every once in a while, you’ll be up at night drinking a bottle of wine by yourself, and you’ll watch some Crooked Vultures live thing on YouTube and go, ‘We were so good!,” and then we’ll text each other saying, ‘Miss you man!’”

Their return has been teased on numerous occasions. Back in 2011, Jones told BBC 6 Music that the band was ready to start recording their sophomore record, however, it never happened.

Then in 2012, Grohl told CBS Local, “I know that someday we’ll get back together and do stuff.”

So there may not be any solid plans to get together just yet but the fact they’re chatting has to mean something, right?
