Dead Letter Circus Let Rip New Single ‘In Plain Sight’, Announce Exclusive Acoustic Shows

As if they weren’t already killing it enough, Dead Letter Circus are knocking fans even deader by unleashing a brand new song called In Plain Sight off their forthcoming third studio album.

The hot piece of Aesthesis (that’s what their new LP is called btw) premiered this week, a few days after the Brissie five piece let rip an official music video for the disc’s first single While You Wait.

Unlike the record’s first lick, In Plain Sight deviates a tad from the outfit’s signature sound.

“[At First] I actually wasn’t sure whether this was a song for Dead Letter,” frontman Kim Benzie tells triple j. But his doubts were alleviated after he took the song to guitarist Clint ‘Vinnie’ Vincent to get his two cents.

“I loved it straight away,” he said. “I [could] fully see where this song can go but he was a little bit embarrassed. Funnily enough after all that, it ended up being one of the easier ones [on the album]…”

Dead Letter Circus have been lubing fans up for their new full-length release, with a national tour for While You Wait wrapping up over the weekend.

But dedicated fans will get another chance to catch the band try out their new material in an intimate setting, with the boys announcing some exclusive acoustic shows for those who pre-order the album.

They will be hosting acoustic & unplugged shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne around the album’s release weekend, with only 50 tickets available to each.

Dead Letter Circus’s third LP Aesthesis is due to drop in Australia on Friday, August 14th via UNFD, with those pre-orders available now.
