Deadmau5 Trolled During Live Stream

Written by John Ritchie on April 22, 2012

Deadmau5 was trolled by his fans today when he decided to hold an impromptu live stream where he answered questions from fans on his Twitter page. Fans sent him a fake link to the ECD Vegas Festival asking why he was on the lineup on the 8th of June and if he was confirmed to play. Deadmau5 then looked up his calendar and saw he was scheduled to be in Ireland on the 7th and Scotland on the 9th. He then tried to call his manager to find out what was going on before realising the lineup he had been sent was fake.

“Did you guys troll me?.. you guys did Troll me this is a fake site I’m not on the lineup, Deadmau5 said…. followed with “I taught you guys well.”

Deadmau5 was then sent the link to the correct lineup and asked what he thought about it, to which he replied “No comment.”

During the stream he also crashed the Veld Festival website when he tweeted the link out to his 1 million + followers, “And we’re down… I should have just read it out” he said.

The Canadian DJ continued to answer technical questions about the gear he uses before discussing tumblr with his fans, “tumblr is so right and so wrong at the same time, it’s the only website that does that for me”, he said.

One fan even even shared a photo of the DJ in grade 5, Deadmau5 then proceeded to run through the names of everyone who is in the photo, saying he once punched one the boys in the face…
