EXCLUSIVE: Issue #2 Of The Son Released With Free ‘All I Know’ Remix Download

Written by Sarah Bella on August 8, 2013

We know you’ve been hanging for it and finally here it is – Issue #2 of The Son, picking up right where we left off in the grim data cloud world of Evo, where the internet no longer exists, corporations control the world and our hero Cal has some butts to kick and names to take.

This second installment is accompanied by the track All I Know, featuring Australian rap royalty 360, and to celebrate the release of Issue #2 we’re delivering a brand-spankin’ new trap remix of the song by the one and only Filth Collins. We’re streaming the track below, and it’s also available as a free download.

In case you’re not up to speed, The Son is the creation of one of Sydney’s favourite DJs, a mixed media project where music meets comics meets video in the not-too-distant future. At the end of Issue #1, which featured appearances from Jake and Stav of Bluejuice, we saw Cal taking on a 2-headed virus called Vitriol. But, as you’ll soon find out in Issue #2, that’s just the beginning of some seriously weird shit for our protagonist.

The debut album from The Son is currently in the works and will feature appearances from a whole host of Aussie musical talent, while the full video for All I Know is set to be unveiled next week, where the story will continue.

In the meantime, check out the track, grab your download, scroll further for a few pages from Issue #2 and, of course, check the full thing out over on the official website.
