Fairgrounds Festival Announces Fun And Games For The Kids

The brand new Fairgrounds Festival has already announced plenty of entertainment for adults in the form of C.W. Stoneking, Father John Misty, Jessica Pratt and more but now the kids have a good reason to be there too.

If you’re a parent desperately looking for a babysitter so you can soak-up the Fairgrounds action in Berry, there’s no longer a need with a jam-packed list of activities for youngsters.

Kicking off on Friday, 4th December with a cinema under the stars, the whole family will be able to kick back and watch My Neighbour Totoro and Searching For Sugar Man. All the main action will then go ahead on the Saturday with kids getting their own festival within a festival – Playgrounds.

Playgrounds will have a hay bale maze as well as a custom built planetarium to play in with a selection of special guests also hosting story time. Additionally, there will be organic kids food stalls.

If you’re kids aren’t too keen on seeing Royal Headache, you can check them into the child care zone where they will be looked after while you enjoy right up the front of the mosh.

If that’s not enough to keep them entertained, Fairgrounds is also bringing back classic field games like the egg and spoon race, sack race and twister.

Now we can’t decide if we want to be kids or adults for Fairgrounds. Catch the full Fairgrounds Festival lineup and ticketing details below. Kids under 12 enter the festival for free.
