Falls Festival Combines Powers With Splendour In The Grass

Two of Australia’s greatest festivals, Splendour in the Grass and Falls, have announced today a new partnership. Splendour’s Jessica Ducrou and Paul Piticco will now be working alongside Falls’ Simon Daly.

The move came after two of Falls’ top dogs, General Manager Naomi Daly and Event Manager Carmella Morgan, stood down from the beloved roles as they will both be starting new families. Other than the new faces within the teams, there will be no other structural changes with the festivals, both continuing with business as usual.

The two parties are actually fairly similar experiences and often draw similar crowds. According to The Music Network, speaking of the partnership, SITG’s Ducrou and Piticco stated: “We love The Falls Music & Arts Festival; it’s a remarkable event that we’re thrilled to be a part of. We look forward to working with Simon and his team nurturing and continuing the great Falls tradition.”

Simon Daly has also released a statement and is equally as pleased with the decision as are his new counterparts: “The Falls Music & Arts Festival goes from strength to strength every year and the contributions from Naomi and Carmella have been immeasurable. I couldn’t think of a better team to join us in Jess and Paul as we continue this tradition for many years to come”.

We will be able to see their first steps together as partners at the up-and-coming Falls Festival, taking place on either side of NYE in Victoria and Tasmania. For all the goss, click here.
