Frank Ocean Releases Limited Edition Rarities Album ‘Unreleased, MISC’

Written by Sarah Bella on July 6, 2013

An unlicensed bootleg of crooner Frank Ocean‘s rarities, entitled Rarities, MISC, has been released, containing 14 tracks that didn’t make the cut for his highly-acclaimed debut album Channel Orange or his mixtage Nostalgia, Ultra.

The double LP will include his cut for the Django Unchained soundtrack, Wise Man, as well as a collaboration with John Mayer, White, and a track featuring fellow Odd Future member Tyler, The Creator called Analog 2. Rarities, MISC is out through Rough Trade and is limited to 750 copies.

Ocean has also dropped another one of his freestyle letters via his Tumblr account, with the Thinkin Bout You performer reflecting on the pressures of life on the road, his passion for photography and his desire to visit Cairo (below). The 25-year-old is heading to Australia for Splendour In The Grass festival at North Byron Parklands at the end of this month, as well as headlining shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
