Funeral For A Friend Announce 2013 Australian Tour

Written by Mike Hohnen on February 4, 2013

Funeral For A Friend have announced their biggest run of Aussie tour dates yet. Heading Down Under in support of their latest album, Conduit, the band’s return also rides a wave of much-needed teenage nostalgia, with the tour marking the 10th anniversary of the album that soundtracked many an awkward, angsty high school experience, Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation.

Rookie Of The Year, Red Is The New Black, Juneau… These song names are enough to transport many of us back to a time before alternative people took over the world. An incredibly impressive debut, Casually Dressed & Deep In Conversation marked the beginning of something big, with the band becoming an ever-present force through regular releases and ceaseless touring.

Conduit is testament to the FFAF mission statement, which has stayed on course for the better part of 10 years. Still bringing the same punk ethos as they had back in 2003, the band don’t seem like they’re leaving us any time soon, and after outlasting the amount of trends FFAF have, it’s seriously no surprise. Check the dates below.

Tickets on sale 9am, Friday, 8th February.
