Green Day Unveil More Teaser Trailers For ‘¡Cuatro!’ Documentary

Green Day have got the promotions ball rolling on their upcoming documentary ¡Cuatro!. Earlier this month the trio released the first two in a series of teaser trailers for the doc and have now followed up with parts three and four, which includes footage of a secret gig where the band debuted their latest material.

The first two videos gave us peeks into the band’s rehearsal space, as they prepared to enter the studio to record their 2012 triple releases ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!, with the second trailer showing the boys having some fun, with one of the members dressed up in a furry monster suit, being a public nuisance on the streets of Newport Beach, California.

In the new trailers we see the recording process behind the ¡Tré! song Missing You, from a home-recording by Billie Joe Armstrong, to a logistical discussion between Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt, to a full-fledged studio version with all three members.

The fourth video meanwhile features Armstrong discussing the sentiments behind the album’s making, in which the band fleshed out a record entirely in-studio for the first time in two decades, and features footage from the band’s first performance of the new material.

¡Cuatro! came out in the US today. The boys will be heading Down Under in 2014 to headline Soundwave Festival with Avenged Sevenfold.
