HAIM Will Impress You Much With Their Shania Twain Cover For ‘Like A Version’

LA’s HAIM sisters have honoured their longtime hero Shania Twain by covering one of her best-known tracks for triple j‘s covers segment ‘Like A Version’.

Recently in the country for Splendour In The Grass, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim have stepped into the triple j studios to lay down a pretty slick version of Twain’s 1998 pop hit ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’, and it did impress us, much.

“It’s hard to cover Shania, she’s a queen,” the gals said, after ripping through their cover of the track.

While in the triple j studios, HAIM also performed a version of their original song ‘Want You Back’, from their latest album Something To Tell You. Watch both performances, below.

HAIM made their previous ‘Like A Version’ appearance back in 2013, when they covered ‘Strong Enough’ by Sheryl Crow. The band’s single ‘If I Could Change Your Mind’ was later covered by Jake Bugg, who made it almost unrecognisable.
