Holy Sh*t, Did Magic Dirt Just Tease Their Reunion?!

UPDATE 26/06/18: It’s official — Magic Dirt are reuniting, and will perform as part of the 2019 Hotter Than Hell tour.

ORIGINAL STORY: Quit washing your jeans immediately dirtbags because iconic Aussie rockers Magic Dirt look set for a “huge” comeback!

The noughties alt-rock lords from Geelong have been chilling like a dormant volcano since 2011, but it looks like they may be about to erupt once again…

The band have taken to Facebook to tease fans with a potential reunion, posting a photo with the caption: “HEY DIRTBAGS, WE’VE GOT HUGE NEWS COMING SOON, STAY TUNED!”

Fans have already begun speculating about what it could mean: reissues? A new tour? New music? And if so, who’ll be playing bass? (bassist Dean Turner passed away of cancer in 2009, RIP).

So many questions!

Hopefully we won’t have to wait long to find out.

Meanwhile, the Hotter Than Hell tour has just teased its big 2019 lineup announcement coming soon, after this year’s instalment saw a reunited Grinspoon team up with Thirsty Merc and a stack of other Aussie rock veterans to tour the nation.

Could it be related???

We’ll bring you more info on this story as soon as we sniff it out…
