Jack White Shares New Music In Bizarre Video Teaser For Next Album

Jack White (you know, of The White Stripes fame?) has released a bizarre four-minute video as a teaser for the follow-up to his 2014 solo album Lazaretto, and there’s new music involved.

White’s new clip is titled ‘Servings and Portions from my Boarding House Reach’, and it switches abruptly between snippets of new music, ranging from drum loops to piano, acoustic guitar, fuzzy electric guitar riffs and White’s vocals.

There’s imagery of coloured hands, photos of musicians and a stack of wooden bricks which spell out KALE, for some reason. It’s all very confusing, but that’s probably the point.

White’s management haven’t released any further information about the name or release date of his next solo album, but in August the singer took to social media to confirm that he was in the process of recording his third solo album.

White’s next solo project will follow his latest single ‘Battle Cry’, which was released earlier this year.
