Taking a leaf from The Bouncing Souls, Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape has decided to release one song a month up until years end which will create his second solo album Doesn’t Play Well With Others.

With the albums artwork designed by Cape’s daughter Violet, each track will be released via Joey’s website on the 18th of each month to download. At the end of the year, a hard copy of the album including a vinyl version will be released.

Joey has also offered up a special subscription service for fans;

“Those who get a subscription will get each song as it is released throughout 2010, PLUS in January of 2011 they will receive a package of ALL 12 songs on limited edition, signed CD and 12″ Vinyl with exclusive artwork. Subscribers will also receive a DVD created entirely by Joey Cape featuring 12 videos for each song on “Doesn’t Play Well With Others”, live concert footage, an interview and random behind the scenes tour footage.”

The new song ‘Going For The Bronze’ is available now. Check out the adorable home made video clip, featuring his daughter hula hooping below, and head over to Joey’s website for more info.
