Justin Bieber Officially Announces Retirement

Merry Christmas, music lovers everywhere – teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has given the ultimate gift this festive season, taking to Twitter to tell the world he’s officially retiring from the music business.

The Biebs has been hinting at the move for some time, telling LA’s Power106 he was considering hanging up his hat after the release of his compilation album Journals, which came out on Monday. His manager, Scooter Braun, was quick to shoot down the retirement talk, saying that the popstar was “just kidding”, but the 19-year-old apparently didn’t get the memo, yesterday tweeting “My beloved beliebers I’m officially retiring.”

The Canadian then issued a scathing critique of the industry, saying “The media talks a lot about me. They make a up a lot of lies and want me to fail but I’m never leaving you, being a belieber is a lifestyle.” He then reminded us that like Jesus himself, he’ll never leave us. “Be kind loving to each other, forgive each other as god forgave us through Christ Merry Christmas IM HERE FOREVER”

He may be only a teenager but Bieber’s probably earned his early retirement. In the last three months alone, he’s reportedly been caught leaving a Brazilian brothel, converted Metallica into Beliebers, and had his arse handed to him by Zach Galifianakis.
