Lights In The Studio With Bring Me The Horizon For New Album

There have been very few updates from the BMTH camp since word spread that the UK lads had entered the studio to begin work on the follow-up to There Is a Hell…. But fans can now rejoice for it looks as though Lights will once again be teaming up with the band for the release.

According to a post from Lights herself through the AMA page on Reddit, the Canadian siren was “just in the studio with Oli, real nice dude. And it’s good doing something different from what I normally do. Any kind of distance is hard but I went out for a little bit. Hate having to use steamed up crapped out porto-johns all the time though. That’s something I won’t miss.”

Lights last featured on the band’s 2011 album There Is a Hell, Believe Me I’ve Seen It. There Is a Heaven, Let’s Keep It a Secret in not one, but two tracks Don’t Go and Crucify Me. Incidentally, they ere two of the most popular tunes off the release.

Now we can only sit back and play the waiting game to see just how far out of her comfort zone Lights has gone, and where Bring Me the Horizon has taken her. Bring Me will be in town very shortly, however, so come Soundwave 2013 time, I’m sure we will be privy to the new tunage.
