Madonna Might Be Doing A Comedy Routine At Her Aussie Show Tonight And No One Knows What To Expect

Madonna is about to begin her first Australian tour since 1993 and as a thank you for waiting so long she’s gifted Melbourne fans with an intimate show, however, it may not be exactly what people expect.

We all know Madonna as a singer, dancer, author and even director but really do we associate her with comedy? Well, that might all change tonight when she takes to the stage in Melbourne for Madonna: Tears Of A Clown.

Footage of rehearsals at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre show her dressed as a clown and also riding around on a tricycle. By the looks of it she’ll be injecting a little bit of circus and comedy into the show which also promises some performance art and, of course, music.

This is a one-off show specially designed for Australia so no one is exactly sure what’s going to go down. Last year on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show though, Madonna hinted that she wants to get into comedy.

“I’m kind of a closet comedian,” she told him before acctually delivering a stand-up comedy routine. She seemed to laugh harder than anyone else but it wasn’t a complete disaster.

Who knows whether she’s improved since then or worked on her routine but all will be revealed tonight. After this show she’ll move onto arenas around the country as part of her Rebel Heart world tour in support of her 2015 record of the same name.
