While in town for a 3-day promotional jaunt in support of his forthcoming album Innocents, legendary producer and DJ Moby will be performing a super special one-off performance at Sydney’s Chinese Laundry just a matter of days before the album is officially released.
Innocents has cocked many an eyebrow since news of its release broke, as this will be the first time Moby has worked with an external producer in his entire career. Moby worked with his good mate Mark “Spike” Stent (Madonna, U2, Muse, Björk, Massive Attack), and enlisted the talents of an array of artists including Wayne Coyne, Mark Lanegan, Cold Specks and Skylar Grey.
This will be a rare opportunity to catch one of the most innovative and individual forces in EDM in a close-quarters, 400 max capacity venue. It’s sure to be somewhat of a massacre getting in for tickets, so best bet is to mark the on sale date in a calendar somewhere, then set four alarms and lock yourself inside the house until 9:00am Thursday, 8th August.
