Nicki Minaj Australia October 2012 Tour Dates Leaked

Written by John Ritchie on July 18, 2012

Nicki Minaj has leaked a run of Australian tour dates coming up in October via her always controversial Twitter account. The rapper/pop star released a number of potential upcoming world tour dates and Australia was included. According to The Music Network, no official statement has been issued from her touring company yet, but by the looks of it we will be seeing Minaj Down Under for the second time this year.

In June Minaj cancelled her headline set at New York radio station Hot 97′s Summer Jam concert after DJ Peter Rosenberg had said: “I know there are some chicks in here waiting to sing along with ‘Starships‘ later. I’m not talking to y’all right now. Fuck that bullshit…I’m here to talk about real hip hop.” Reports from Scotland just over a week ago also suggested she was booed after every song during her performance at T in the Park festival.

If the tweets are accurate, Minaj will warm up for her Australian tour in New Zealand with one show scheduled on September 28th. However, Stuff.co.nz reports that no official venue or ticket details have been confirmed.

Update: all shows have been rescheduled – Full tour dates here.
