Yours & Owls (and Violent Soho) will be coming out of hibernation at the end of the chilly season with a brand new festival to usher in the spring.
The inaugural instalment of their new event The Last Frost will go down on Saturday, 19th August (appropriately) at the University Of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus and wait until you get a load of its debut lineup.
The revived Violent Soho, Cloud Control, The Kite String Tangle, Cub Sport, NZ’s Fazerdaze, Sloan Peterson and Mookhi are just some of the names who’ll be helping to thaw you out at the inaugural all-ages event.
Yours & Owls seem to be out to expand their repertoire, with today’s announcement coming after the festival held a new under-18s offshoot bash in June. They’re also holding their massive Yours & Owls Festival between September and October.
The Last Frost coincides with the weekend of University Of Wollongong’s official Open Day and promoters are spruiking it as “just a hint of what’s to come for the warmer months ahead”.
