Panama Festival Returns In 2015

Tasmania’s Panama Festival, set amongst the state’s Panama Forest, will return in 2015 after a successful inaugural event in March this year. Panama Festival 2015 will see celebrations headlined by national and international artists, playing to strictly 1,000 lucky festival-goers.

Panama Festival is renowned for its wood-fired hot showers, locally brewed cider (really locally, we’re talking on site), food stalls and entertaining cabaret shows. According to a press release, the stature of the festival’s 2015 main stage program “belies the tiny scale of the event”. According to the Panama Festival website, the first lineup for 2015 will drop on Tuesday, 28th October.

Panama Festival 2014 saw a mix of garage, soul, folk and psych take over Tasmania’s northeast. The event in Lone Star Valley was led by acts such as Big Scary, Charles Bradley, Husky, The Frowning Clouds and Saskwatch.
