Peaches, Meg Mac & Amy Shark Lead The Commonwealth Games’ Festival 2018 Lineup

The Cat Empire, Peaches, Meg Mac, Amy Shark and Yothu Yindi are just some of the acts billed to play Festival 2018, a huge 12-day arts and culture event as part of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

With a different concert event happening on the main stage every day for 12 days (4th – 15th April), the Gold Coast is going to be absolutely swimming with a diverse range of artists from all across the Commonwealth.

The entire event boasts well known Aussie favourites, as well as a ton of up-and-comers like Kardajala Kirridarra and Jack River.

Yothu Yindi and The Cat Empire will be kicking things off on 4th April and Peaches and David Coulter will be performing in the ‘Great Australian Songbook’ concert on 5th April.

Meg Mac, Nina Las Vegas and Wafia will be performing at Jack River’s Electric Lady event on 10th April and, closing things up, will be festival legend Hot Dub Time Machine as he headlines the ‘Last Chance To Dance’ event on 15th April.

On top of that, international acts like South Africa’s The Mahotella Queens and Brazil’s Laima Leyton will also be performing, plus many more.

Festival 2018 is too massive to comprehend, with so many events happening across the 12 day period. Check out some of the music highlights below, and head over to the event’s website for more details.
