Grunge icons Pearl Jam have installed a countdown on their website, which at time of publication indicates that we can expect something big from the Jeremy legends in around 6.5 days. Not that we’re counting or anything.
Is it a tour? A single? A new album? They’re all strong possibilities from the Seattle stalwarts. A new single called Mind Your Manners has long been rumoured for release on 16th July after an online release listing leaked last month, and guitarist Mike McCready has been promising that the follow-up to 2009’s Backspacer would definitely be a 2013 release.
If you want to play along at home, the band are using the hashtag #PEARLJAM2013 and you can go follow the countdown yourself on Pearl Jam’s official site while you sit tight and wait for an official announcement from Eddie Vedder and friends.
