Reformed Def FX Australian Tour In 2012?

Def FX frontwoman Fiona Horne has confirmed rumours that the band will reform, and has revealed plans to do a tour next year.

Although the details aren’t 100% confirmed, she spoke to The Music’s Your Daily SPA, saying “I can say it is a nostalgia tour – we are playing all the old faves – no re-inventing the wheel or new songs, just sticking to the best ofs!” adding “Our Facebook fanpage people have been putting up pictures of original set lists and other memorabilia and we are choosing the songs to play from requests posted there from our fans… I am even getting some of my original outfits out of storage to wear.”

The band broke up in 1997 after their album Majick. Since then Horne followed up with musical releases Shut Up and Kiss Me with Paul McDermott and a solo single Let’s Go Out Tonight before becoming a successful author, writing various books, two autobiographies and guides to the Wicca, for which she has a strong belief and interest.
