San Cisco Announce Regional ‘Gracetown’ Tour

With their sophomore album Gracetown sitting pretty at number two in the charts after it’s first week on the shelves, San Cisco have just announced a national, regional tour in support of the release.

Following on from their barnstorming performance at Splendour in the Grass in July, the band are keen and eager to get on the regional roads of this great land to play for their fans that live further afield.

Covering a healthy chunk of the East Coast, the band making the trek from Cairns down to Geelong, San Cisco will be on the road for nearly a month. Lucky for them though the tour will finish up at home, with a show in the Perth Cultural Centre as part of the ARTBAR series.

The album itself takes its title from a laid back coastal town in South Western Australia, near the band’s hometown of Perth, and showcases a more worldly and mature approach to life. Thematically it delves into love, displacement, homesickness, heartache and heartbreak, the band wrestling with these issues against a backdrop of disco, funk, soul and hip hop influences, all woven together into something that is as accessible as it is contemporary.
