Savages 99% Confirm Laneway Festival 2014 Appearance

Though it’s yet to be confirmed by organisers, or by the presence of an event poster, UK post punkers Savages are most likely going to be returning Down Under for a stint at Laneway Festival 2014. Even though she states that the news hasn’t yet been made public, drummer Fay Milton happily leaked the information to The Vine in a recent interview.

Milton seems pretty confident in revealing that, “We’re coming over in February next year.” It was probably that exact moment she realised she had spilled the beans, adding “I don’t know if our festival has been announced actually, but I’ve been to the festival before – it should be good.”

For those of you playing at home, there’s only one festival happening at that time of year with such pulling power and that would be Laneway Festival. This year, the band will be performing along side The National and Sigur Ros at the first-ever Stateside version of Laneway.

The band released their debut album Silence Yourself not too long ago, so they’re certainly hot right now. The release is sure to have some serious steam by Feb of 2014, so hang tight for proper confirmation.
