Second Artist Announced For Pitch Music & Arts Festival 2018

Written by Zanda Wilson on September 12, 2017

Organisers of Pitch Music & Arts Festival have just announced the second act to perform at the 2018 edition of the festival as American DJ The Black Madonna.

The 2016 Mixmag DJ of the Year rose to prominence at the resident DJ of Chicago’s iconic Smart Bar, becoming the club’s first ever Creative Director.

This will be her third time heading to perform in Australia, with her last trip to the country in 2016 when she performed four shows.

Her addition to the lineup comes after Pitch revealed the first act on the lineup to be Len Faki.

Pitch festival made its debut in March this year, with a stacked lineup featuring Toro Y Moi, Julio Bashmore, Chrome Sparks, Kučka, Client Liaison and more.

The festival will return to the Victorian town of Mafeking once again next year, with organisers recently suggesting the 2018 lineup will feature “some of the most relevant contemporary dance acts to date”.

The full lineup is due Tuesday, 3rd October.
