Shannon Noll’s Been Trolled Hard Over His First Public Statement Since Arrest

UPDATE 06/04/17:

The assault charges against Shannon Noll have been dropped.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Shannon Noll has released his first public statement following his recent arrest outside an Adelaide strip club, and while the statement doesn’t mention the arrest at all, the internet isn’t letting Nollsie forget about his night at the Crazy Horse.

Noll was arrested after allegedly assaulting a bouncer at the Crazy Horse club over the weekend, with footage later emerging of the singer being kicked (both literally and figuratively) from the venue.

Taking to Facebook last night, Noll released his first statement following the incident. In it, he says:

“Hey guys, really looking forward to two massive shows at Mornington this weekend as part of the Red Hot Summer Tour, then we’re off to Tamworth for Australia Day Eve (next Wednesday) before heading to beautiful Gympie in Queensland for Australia Day. See you out there!”

Despite the brief statement not mentioning the Crazy Horse incident at all, comments on the post have made it clear that the internet never forgets. Here are just some of our favourites:

Noll’s manager has declined to comment to Music Feeds about the Crazy Horse incident, and attempts to contact the venue have also been met with silence. So while it looks like Nollsie might want to sweep the whole thing under the rug, the internet probably won’t let him. At least for a while.

Noll is currently touring with the likes of John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite and James Reyne as part of the Red Hot Summer tour.
