Shannon Noll & John Farnham Are Touring Together And It’s The Most Aussie Thing Ever

The Red Hot Summer Tour has announced that its second series of shows for 2017 will feature comeback king John Farnham and cult meme hero Shannon Noll, who will tour their true-blue homeland together early next year.

Although campaigns to get Nollsie on the lineup for 2016 festivals Groovin The Moo and Splendour In The Grass were unsuccessful, seeing him on the same bill as Johnny Bloody Farnham will surely have everyone reaching for the nearest Victoria Bitter.

Farnham, on the other hand, has embodied the voice of the quintessential Aussie artist in his multiple decades as an omnipresent figure in Aussie music, having also quite possibly set the record for most ever comeback tours along the way. He’s released more than 25 albums, and is still knocking out huge stadium shows.

Nollsie and Farnsy will be joined by a host of special guests for The Red Hot Summer Tour, including classic rock singer-songwriter James Reyne, former Sherbert lead vocalist Daryl Braithwaite and ARIA-award winning Taxiride.

Just picture it now — Daryl gets up and sings The Horses, Nollsie follows it with What About Me, and Farnsy closes with You’re The Voice. Magic.
