Shannon Noll has shared the dates of his 2024 Australian tour, in which he will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of his debut album That’s What I’m Talking About. The 15-date national tour will begin on the Sunshine Coast in early April and take Noll and his band across most of the country through to the end of May, where the tour will conclude with a Toowoomba show. In addition to the tour, a new deluxe version of That’s What I’m Talking About will be released which includes live versions of several tracks and two new songs. One of the new songs will be a duet with Cosima Devito – a fellow first-season Australian Idol finalist alongside Noll and eventual winner Guy Sebastian, who came third in the competition before famously withdrawing due to issues with her vocal cords. The album is also set to be released on vinyl for the first time.

That’s What I’m Talking About was originally released on February 9th, 2004. Its title stemmed from a phrase that original Australian Idol judge Marcia Hines (who recently returned to the show for its 2024 edition) would say after a contestant gave a performance she was excited by.
The album’s lead single was Noll’s version of Moving Pictures’ ‘What About Me’, which topped the ARIA charts and was later certified four times platinum. It also features the song ‘Drive’, which was written by Bryan Adams and peaked at number four on the ARIA chart.
A pre-sale for the tour will begin on Friday, February 2nd from midday AEDT, before a general sale commences from Tuesday, February 6th. The general sale will also begin at midday AEDT.
