Sick Of It All Announce Sidewaves With Madball And Vision Of Disorder

Hardcore kids rejoice, Soundwave have today announced one of the most legit side attracts yet, with lords of the old school Sick of it All hitting up Sydney and Melbourne with fellow punk rock icons Madball and Visions of Disorder while in town for the fest.

Sick of it All have been keeping a fairly constant live presence here in Australia, with the last tour Down Under for the boys occurring back in May of 2012. Their latest studio effort, Based on a True Story, as well as their constant touring schedule are testament to how much punk rock fury still runs through the band, whose origins can be traced all the way back to 1986.

Staples of the New York hardcore scene, Madball have weathered all sorts of storms and trends over the past years, only to time and again retain the title of kings of this game. Easily one of the toughest bands ever, Madball are well on their way to legendary status. We haven’t witnessed a show this bad ass since their last tour back in 2008, but this time round they will have a new drummer, and their freshest record Empire.

It’s been a bit of a bumpy ride for Visions of Disorder, who parted ways in 2002 only to reunite years later, resulting in a brand new album. With an underground following that would be intimidating to any of their peers, this set is sure to blow the minds of their Aussie fans who thought they’d never get the opportunity.
