So one thing is pretty clear now with the Soundwave 2013 timetables – they are still very much subject to change. Soundwave organisers announced earlier that they will be making slight adjustments to the slots in the coming days, and new timetables for Soundwave Adelaide and Brisbane have just been released. We do, however, have the maps for you to start memorising. Those can’t change…right?
First things first, the new amendements – Brissy, you will notice that Sharks will now play for 30 minutes as opposed to 20 but that addition 10 hasn’t shifted anything else on that stage. And Radelaide, A Perfect Circle has swapped with Slayer, which is apparently what everyone was hoping for? Check out the amended timetables in the links below – those are the only adjustments we can spot.
As for the maps, the sprawl is looking fairly extensive, and when you begin to plot your day and start time-budgeting, keep in mind those travelling distances. 9 whole stages is pretty intimidating, but shouldn’t stop you from having an amazing day. Maybe now is a good time to mention that you should bookmark this page to save the fuck-around come Soundwave day.
The ‘special guest’ is still yet to be named but will feature on the Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide legs. Perth fans are understandably concerned that Flogging Molly doesn’t appear on their line up. It’s been all quiet on the @imnotshouting front as to why this has happened. The band seem to think they are playing – we will be update you on this as soon as we can.
Update: We erroneously mentioned that Perth had a new timetable. We meant to say Brisbane. Apologies for getting your hopes up, Western Australians.
