Spiderbait's Kram Talks 2014 Falls Festival Appearance

On the cusp of heading out on their first national headline tour in a decade and fresh from their highly awaited performance at Splendour In The Grass, Spiderbait‘s Kram has revealed the band are discussing a possible appearance on the 2014/2015 Falls Festival lineup.

Speaking to the Gold Coast publication Blank about Spiderbait’s future plans Kram said, “I think there’s talk of doing Falls festival and we’ll do some other festivals in the summer but we’re happy where things are at the moment and we’re happy to be in this band.”

The band who define what it means to be Australian rock royalty, will head off on their headline tour this August, bringing career-spanning sets to venues in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth, including the band’s latest release, 2013′s Spiderbait.

Kram was recently part of an Aus-rock supergroup who played a one-night-only show in Brazil’s Porto Alegre ahead of Australia’s 2014 World Cup clash with Netherlands. The band, consisting of Kram, Powderfinger’s Darren Middleton, Jet’s Mark Wilson, and High Voltage, Holy Grail, and of course, Khe Sanh.

Spiderbait made appearances at some of the nation’s most loved music festivals last year, including Meredith and Queenscliff Music Festival. Falls 2014/2015 kicks off in Lorne on Sunday, 28th December and will run till Wednesday, 31st December. German duo Milky Chance previously put themselves in the running for the lineup after revealing they were eyeing January to make their Australian festival debut.
