The St Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2012 line-up has been announced for this year. Next year’s event returns to the five venues that have established the festival as one of the most unique events in the country. Laneway continues its ongoing international expansion, returning for events in Auckland and Singapore.
Rumours that Feist would be on the line-up had leaked on Friday along with Anna Calvi. These rumours appear to be true, along with previous truthful rumours that included The Horrors, Twin Shadow and Laura Marling.
Other acts appearing on the line-up this year include Portugal the Man, M83 and The Panics, The Drums, DZ Deathrays and Wu Lyf.
The Laneway Festival is about leading new and revered seminal music. The festival has always been interested in finding what’s fresh and great and bringing it to unique settings and surrounds to be appreciated by music lovers.
The size of the festivals, the locations and the way we encourage community all form part of the way in which the Laneway team strive to present an urban music experience like no other.
