Sticky Fingers Drop New Song ‘Everybody’s Talkin’ Bout It’ Ahead Of Indefinite Hiatus

Sticky Fingers have unleashed a new song before they go on an indefinite hiatus.

The band shared ‘Everybody’s Talkin’ Bout It’ on Facebook with no explanation. They simply shared the lyrics for the song which ends with frontman Dylan Frost singing, “We’re living in a dream”.

The track looks to be a standalone release and it was produced by Dann Hume who is their longtime collaborator.

It’s the first new material we’ve heard from the band since their third album Westway (The Glitter & The Slums) was released earlier this year. It’s also likely to be the last we hear from them for a long time.

The band announced weeks ago that due to “internal issues” they would be going on an indefinite hiatus.

They will play their final shows over the next few months including Beyond The Valley, Lost Paradise and Origin NYE. Their final show will be at Party In The Paddock in Tasmania and then, in their words, “thats it from us, for now.”

Given that most fans were still digesting the news that Sticky Fingers were going their seperate ways, a new song was probably the last thing everyone was expecting.

But, here it is.

UPDATE 12/02/17: Sticky Fingers ave confirmed they’re not breaking up at their final show before their “indefinite hiatus”.
