Sum 41 Declare “Death To Pop” On New Song ‘God Save Us All’

Sum 41 are gearing up for the release of their comeback album 13 Voices, and have now shared another song from the record.

Their latest track is called God Save Us All (Death To Pop), and they’ve also revealed an official music video for the release.

The message of the new song is clear — death to pop music.

“The cool thing about playing rock music all over the world is that you get to share this unity through music with other people, and, in my opinion, I think you only get that feeling with rock music,” frontman Deryck Whibley says in the intro to the video. “I don’t think you feel anything with pop.”

The song’s music video features a bunch of footage from Sum 41’s live shows over the years, and if it doesn’t have you super-psyched for their comeback, then nothing will.

God Save Us All (Death To Pop) is the latest in a number of tracks which have already been revealed from 13 Voices, including the hook-driven Fake My Own Death and the hard-hitting track War. The album is set for release on 7th October.
