The Amity Affliction Unveil New Single ‘All Fucked Up’

Written by Mike Hohnen on August 10, 2016

The Amity Affliction are no strangers to laying it all out on a track for us to hear, but with the brand new single All Fucked Up, the band are at their most vulnerable yet, putting aside the distortion, double-kick, smoke and mirrors for a straight-up acoustic jam from the post-hardcore titans.

The track is a brutal self-assessment of the protagonist, which seems to be a strong motif on the band’s forthcoming record This Could Be Heartbreak. The track comes with a lyric video to guide you through the narrative, fit with plenty of struggle between positivity and negativity.

The track falls smack bag in the middle of the new album, which drops this coming Friday, 12th August, suggesting an album full of peaks and troughs. Album opener I Bring The Weather With Me came bearing fangs (and Australian tour dates) and follow up title track This Could Be Heartbreak was more of the same.

All evidence so far suggests an absolute adventure of an album. Fucken’ bring it.
