The Shins have announced Splendour In The Grass sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne with tickets going on sale next Monday, 30th April. The band recently played at Coachella and have just released their fourth studio album Port Of Morrow.
The album is the follow-up to their 2007 LP Wincing The Night Away and was recorded in 2011. Lead singer James Mercer wrote all of the songs and played most of the instruments on the album.
Melbourne band Husky will play support at both the Melbourne and Sydney shows.
This tour will mark The Shins’ fifth visit to Australia since 2003.
