Thundamentals will close out 2016 with a whopper national tour in support of their brand new slice of Aussie hip hop, Never Say Never.
The catchy, cowbell-tappin’ track premiered on triple j last night, with Thunda’s Jeswon describing it as being about “making the most of the cards that life deals you”.
“Maintaining confidence and self belief in the face of adversity,” he said. “So what you drive a 94′ Corolla? Chuck some rims on that banger and fang some bloody laps mate!!”

Fresh from playing a stack of arena shows across Australia supporting Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, the Newtown rhyme-spitters will be scaling it back with a run of headlining dates at smaller venues across our fair nation.
But that doesn’t mean this tour is a small one, no sir-ee bob, it’s a monster. Stretching across three months from October to December, Thunda’s Never Say Never Tour will hit 17 venues across every state (yep including Tassie) as well as the ACT. It also includes the group’s previously announced festival slots at Origins, Southbound and Beyond The Valley.
What’s more, the Sydney rap krew will be joined by some very special guests at the majority of the dates, in the form of fellow local hip hop stars Pez, who has just announced a long-awaited new album, and MC Mallrat.
The Never Say Never Tour will see the rap collective showcase a brand spanker of a live show and debut a bunch of brand new tunes alongside fan faves from across their entire catalogue.
“We can’t wait to road test new material on this tour, we’ll be playing a bunch of songs for the first time ever” Thunda’s Tuka says.
