The 2016 Vans Warped Tour lineup has arrived in all its glory, with three Aussie acts jetting off to punk rock summer camp this year.
UNIFY Gathering 2016 headliners Tonight Alive and In Hearts Wake will both be repping for ‘straya at the iconic touring festival, alongside Sydney pop-punk young guns With Confidence, who’ve just inked a deal with the juggernaut Hopeless Records (the home of All Time Low, Enter Shikari, The Used and New Found Glory).
The Aussie trio join a stacked bill of almost 80 acts performing at 40+ dates across the US this June, joining heavyweights such as Falling In Reverse, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, New Found Glory and Yellowcard.
While The Ghost Inside were forced to pull the plug on their 2016 Warped Tour slot following their horrific bus crash late last year, they’ve become the first band to be locked in for Warped 2017 .
“2017 is the year of @theghostinside, see you guys next summer,” Warped posted on Facebook.
While Aussie fans are likely still feeling a bit gutted from the loss of Warped Australia back in 2014, at least we got to catch some of the US action live last year thanks to a webcast of the kick-off show in Pomona, California.
Hopefully we’ll have some similar luck this year.
