Yo Gabba Gabba is that kids show that we’ve all kinda thought was sort of for adults on acid. The crazy antics that occur on that program, the colours, the lights and the noises, they’re certainly not for the mentally vulnerable or those prone to seizures. Cut Copy made a recent cameo on the program, adding the much more stable element of great music.
The Aussie indie synth outfit recently unveiled their appearance on the show, which is set to air on the Nick Jr channel in the not-too-distant future.
The band appears during the ‘Super Music Friends Show’, and while we can’t watch the whole thing, fans are now privy to a small, albeit trippy section of the gig. The band joins other Yo Gabba Gabba alumni such as The Flaming Lips, The Roots, Cults, and actually a rather long list of relevant awesome bands.
I guess this means society will be weaning the bad music traits out of the younger generation; let’s just hope they appreciate it! Well, if they don’t, the adults on acid surely will. Check out the clip below.
