British singer, producer and dancer FKA twigs has taken to BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge to drop a super-sweet cover of Elastic Heart, the 2013 hit single from Australia’s very own paper-bag popstar, Sia.
Twigs’ interpretation of Elastic Heart (below) sees the electronic experimentalist strip the song back to a minimal backbone of guitar, samples and some deep percussion while topping the whole thing off with her suitably icy vocals.
Renowned for her spidery choreography, twigs also teams up with a fellow dancer during the performance, and the pair drift around the studio as twigs sings Sia’s elongated vocal hooks.
Elastic Heart has already been covered on BBC Radio 1‘s Live Lounge, with Baltimore pop punks All Time Low tackling the track in April this year.
During her Live Lounge session, Twigs also performed her original track In Time, which features on her latest EP, M3LL155X.
