Off the back of sweeping the 2015 ARIA awards, among an increasing plethora of other accolades afforded to her – Courtney Barnett made her triumphant return to Coachella over the weekend.
Barnett played a bunch of tracks from her huge 2015 LP Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit, as a decent sized crowd joined her to groove the afternoon away. The Aussie singer-songwriter also played a rendition of her 2016 single Three Packs A Day.
Among other FOMO-producing highlights from a huge weekend, Kesha re-appeared live with German producer Zedd, Guns N’ Roses brought out Angus Young to play with them on stage, and Tyler, The Creator beat Yeezy in a foot-race. As if that wasn’t enough, Ice Cube reunited N.W.A and Lorde made a surprise cameo during Disclosure’s set.
