You’ll want to sit down for this one. Sydney future-folk and soul songstress Ngaiire is about to floor you, having swung by triple j this morning to deliver an incredibly powerful rendition of Tame Impala‘s The Less I Know The Better, for Like A Version.
Ngaiire’s cover starts off smooth af with soft beats and sparse keys, before raising the stakes, amping up the soul and, likely, the hairs on the back of your neck, resulting in one of the best Like A Versions to date.
Ngaiire is no stranger to the Like A Version studio, but this is the first time she’s performed the segment as a solo artist, and boy did she knock it out of the park with a super smooth delivery of her most recent single Once.
