Watch Paralympian Dylan Alcott Rap With Wu-Tang Clan In Melbourne

Aussie paralympian and rap fiend Dylan Alcott has had “a dream come true” while performing on stage with hip hop legends Wu-Tang Clan at the first show of their current Aussie tour.

Alcott, who plays wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis, took to the stage with the Wu-Tang crew at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena last night, and helped the likes of RZA, GZA, Raekwon, Masta Killa and his old mate Ghostface Killah knock out the group’s classic track Protect Ya Neck.

Posting a video of the special moment to Facebook (below), Alcott reveals that he’s actually part of the reason why Wu-Tang are down under in the first place.

“Big ups to my boy Ghostface Killah for inviting me onstage last night to spit with him and the Wu-Tang Clan,” Alcott says. “Definition of a dream come true! Glad I could play a very small part in getting them in the country by writing a letter of reference to immigration. Wutang is for the children.”

This wasn’t the first time Alcott has rapped with Ghostface Killah, having crowd-surfed his way to the front of a Meredith Music Festival stage in 2014 to spit some lines with the rapper.

Earlier this week, Wu-Tang recorded some new music in an epic 10-hour studio session in Melbourne, ahead of the first show of their tour.
