UPDATE: Ministry have cancelled their first-ever Australian headline tour.
ORIGINAL STORY: Industrial metal outfit Ministry have announced their return to Australia for a 2017 headline tour.
Al Jourgensen and company will hit Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane between September and October, backed by their mammoth 13-album back catalogue.
The tour will be supported by industrial rockers Filter, but only on the east coast. Catch all the tour dates and ticket details, below.
Ministry previously performed in Australia for Soundwave Festival in 2015, as well as few sideshows. Following the tour, Jourgensen called Soundwave promoter AJ Maddah a “scumbag”, and documents obtained by Music Feeds showed that Ministry were owed $203,952.01 for their appearances at Soundwave 2015, but were also part of a Deed of Company Arrangement agreed upon by Soundwave’s creditors.
UPDATE: Ministry have added a second Sydney show to their upcoming Australian tour, after the first sold out. Details below.
