A man has been arrested in the US after allegedly stalking and trying to kidnap singer Lana Del Rey.
The man, identified as Michael Hunt of Riverview, Florida, allegedly made a number of threats against Del Rey (real name Elizabeth Woolridge Grant) on his personal Facebook page, and Orlando Police Department found the threats “credible” enough to take action.
Police say they located Hunt a block away from Orlando’s Amway Center (where Del Rey was performing) on Friday night, and took him into custody. He was found with a concert ticket and a knife, and is being held on charges of aggravated stalking with a credible threat and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.
Del Rey spoke publicly about Hunt’s arrest this morning, tweeting, “Hey kiddos. I’m doing fine thanks for the messages.”
