PREMIERE: Bec Stevens Delivers Passionate Indie Punk Feels On ’10 Minute Drive’

Tassie born, Adelaide-based artist Bec Stevens blends honest, emotive songwriting with powerful indie punk prowess on new jam ’10 Minute Drive’.

Guitars and percussion gradually swell around Stevens as she deals with the aftermath of a breakup and the unavoidable, quotidian reminders of what life once was. “Your home, your home, well it used to be mine / but I still stop by from time to time.”

Having signed recently with Hobbledehoy Records, Stevens has announced the imminent release of her new 6 track EP, Why Don’t You Just and, in a delicious twist, will be launching the single with her own signature coffee, produced in conjunction with local roasters Monastery Coffee.

The single and the coffee blend will be launched at Adelaide’s HD Eatery this Saturday. Details here. First though, give ’10 Minute Drive’ a spin here below.
