Darude Is Heading To Eurovision So We May As Well Quit Now

While Australia is yet to decide who is going to represent our nation at this year’s Eurovision, Finland has already put up their contender and it’s none other than Darude.

Yep, that Darude.

The ‘Sandstorm’ DJ took to Twitter to announce his participation in the contest, writing “I am incredibly excited to announce that I will be the 2019 @Eurovision representative for Finland!”

“This is such a huge honor for me to represent my home country in this way, and I am SO excited to share this crazy experience with you all!”

As previously stated, Australia doesn’t know who its champion will be yet. It is currently between the likes of Kate Miller-Heidke, Ella Hooper, Courtney Act, Alfie Arcuri, Electric Fields, Tania Doko, Mark Vincent and more.

Eurovision 2019 will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel in May, and will mark Australia’s fifth appearance at the competition, after Jessica Mauboy took out 20th place in 2018 with her song ‘We Got Love’.
