And The Winner Of Eurovision 2018 Is…

Written by Sam Murphy on May 13, 2018

The winner of Eurovision has been crowned in Portugal with Israel taking home the prize.

Israel’s Netta Barzilai won the competition with her song ‘Toy’ narrowly beating out Cyprus’ Eleni Foureira and her song ‘Fuego’.

Australia’s Jessica Mauboy came in at a disappointing 20th. She scored the lowest public vote of any country despite a rousing performance of ‘We Got Love’

It’s the first time Australia has placed outside the top 10 since we started entering in the competition.

This was the second time Mauboy has performed at Eurovision. The first time was back in 2014 when she performed but didn’t compete.

Eurovision will be heading to Jerusalem next year. It’s the fourth time Israel has won Eurovision.

Check out Mauboy’s performance as well as the winner’s performance below.
