Kiwi Singer Who Got Harry Styles Tattooed On Her Face Explains Why She Did Such A Thing

This is certainly a commitment. NZ artist Kelsy Karter made headlines recently for getting Harry Styles‘ face tattooed upon her own face for some reason, and now she’s given the world her divine reason as to why.

While there is still no confirmation about whether the tattoo seen around the world is real or not, Karter took to NZ radio station The Edge to say how it was all to do with her love of the former One Direction member and not because she just released a song called ‘Harry’, about Styles.

“I’m a big fan of Harry and I’m not afraid to express it and I honestly don’t know how to do anything half-arsed,” she said.

“As a fellow musician, I really respect what he’s doing for rock ‘n’ roll. I’m a female in the modern day movement of rock ‘n’ roll and he’s exposed the kids to sounds they might have not otherwise heard, because he came from the pop world and did a rock ‘n’ roll album.”

“It’s opened doors for people like me. I really respect what he’s doing and love what he’s doing – and he’s nice to look at.”

Styles is yet to make any public acknowledgement of the tattoo, but we daresay we’ll find out whether Karter’s new facial ink is real or not.
